Sponsored by the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Howard County and Howard Community College.
The event coincides with Columbia’s 50th Birthday Celebration and Race Unity Day.
The concept of Race Unity Day was inaugurated in 1957 by the National Spiritual Assembly
of the Bahá’ís of the United States.
Please join us for a reception at 12:00 pm, with light refreshments in Smith Theater foyer. Program begins at 1:00 pm with a musical performance by singer Lea Gilmore. Panel presentations 1:15 – 2:15 pm, followed by breakout sessions related to panel topics,and concluding with reflections and suggested ways to take action.
